Evaporateur/concentrateur avec un système de réchauffement/
refroidissement de l’eau
Alternative Systems to the heat pump is ETW/W
If you have hot water, is economically advantageous to apply a multi-stage
concentration system where the first stage is fed by hot water, the second stage
is driven by the thermal condensation energy from the first stage and the third
stage is heated up by the thermal condensation energy coming from the second stage.
The right choice of corrosion resistant materials is made according Io the
chemical composition of the solutions to be treated.
By using this type of concentration system the energy saving Is considerable,
about 25 % in a 2-stage unit and about 35 % in a 3-stage unit compared to the
energy consumption of a heat pump system.
The energy source in this case is hot water at an inlet temperature of 70°
- 90° C and can be produced with a boiler fed by gas or diesel etc.
The condensation of the final stage is done by a closed-loop cooling water circuit,
which is cooled down by an air cooler. The vacuum inside the system is created
by installing liquid-ring pumps
